What is the Annual Fund?
Kingsley’s Annual Fund helps bridge the $3,600-per-student gap between tuition and the true cost of a Kingsley education. It fuels faculty development, curricular enhancements, campus updates, and much more. Again this year, the Annual Fund supports our Covid mitigation strategies, prioritizing student wellbeing while maintaining community health. Annual Fund participation is a core value in our community.
What is Kingsley Giving Day?
Giving Day brings our Annual Fund into full bloom! On Thursday, April 7, we hope the Kingsley community will come together to complete this year’s Annual Fund goals of $1M and 100% participation by Kingsley families.
Why should I participate in One Kingsley Giving Day?
Your gift is always appreciated, but time-limited Giving Day Challenge Matches—and the visibility of your support—will multiply your impact. Your Giving Day contribution shows your Kingsley spirit. Plus: you’ll have the chance to win Kingsley swag and other prizes!
Is my gift tax-deductible?
Yes! We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Gifts to Kingsley’s Annual Fund are fully tax-deductible and you will receive a tax receipt acknowledging your contribution.
What are my options besides paying by credit card?
There are many ways to give! On our Giving Day site, you can use Google Pay, Venmo, Bitcoin, Bank Account Transfer, or make a pledge to be completed via personal check. Absolutely! We hope to count you among 150 donors helping us plant the seeds of a strong future for every Kingsley student.
How much should I give?
Every gift counts for Kingsley students and teachers and helps us fulfill our mission. The collective support of parents, grandparents, alumni, faculty, staff, and friends is essential to fulfillment of our mission.
Why does Kingsley ask for support above tuition?
Kingsley is a mission-based, not-for-profit school. Like other independent schools, Kingsley’s tuition does not meet the actual cost of educating our students. Unlike many peer institutions, Kingsley has no endowment from which to draw. Through the Annual Fund, our generous community comes together in our shared purpose to nurture the limitless potential of every Kingsley student.
How will Giving Day be celebrated on campus?
From a festive spirit at Arrivals to a special lunch for teachers and a fun take-home activity for students, this is an upbeat and inspiring day, celebrating the tremendous generosity of our community. We can’t wait to top things off at our “Thanks a Bunch” reception on Tuesday, April 12!
